Jiale Zhongwen Extension Classes
We believe that students learn most effectively through interaction as well as listening to, reading and responding to meaningful texts. Jiale Zhongwen Extension classes enable students with some prior learning to enrich their Chinese proficiency through exposure to a range of stories, videos and other appropriate written or visual texts in Chinese. Students are also given opportunities to develop their spoken and written language production skills through composing and performing a range of different texts.
In 2022 we are offering two extension classes for our continuing students, Chinese Text Creation and Advanced Chinese Text Creation. These are suitable for motivated school aged learners with prior learning and Chinese for Families graduates. We encourage students to sit for HSK proficiency tests when they are ready.
We have previously also offered extension classes for senior secondary students taking Chinese as a second language at school. Contact us if interested.
