Jiale Zhongwen Extension Classes
We believe that students learn most effectively through interaction as well as listening to, reading and responding to meaningful texts. Jiale Zhongwen Extension classes enable students with some prior learning to enrich their Chinese proficiency through exposure to a range of stories, videos and other appropriate written or visual texts in Chinese. Students are also given opportunities to develop their spoken and written language production skills through composing and performing a range of different texts.
In 2020 we are offering two extension classes for our continuing students, Chinese Text Creation Level 1 and Chinese Text Creation Level 2. These are suitable for motivated school aged learners with prior learning and Chinese for Families graduates.
In addition we are now delighted to be able to offer Senior Secondary Extension classes designed for students in Years 9-11 seeking to build up general language proficiency to prepare for Year 12 Chinese as a second language courses.
